Alpadis, a leading provider of trust and corporate services, has entered into an agreement to divest its Labuan-based subsidiary, Alpadis Trust (Labuan) Ltd, to CC International Bhd (CCIB), through CCIB’s subsidiary Indah Secretarial (Penang) Sdn Bhd.
Established in 2011, Alpadis Trust (Labuan) Ltd is a licensed Labuan trust company providing comprehensive corporate and trust services, including the establishment, administration, and management of corporate entities and trusts for global clients.
The divestment aligns with Alpadis' strategic focus on enhancing capabilities and pursuing growth in other global markets. Alpadis Trust (Labuan) Ltd has established a strong reputation, underpinned by a highly skilled and dedicated team, which has attracted and maintained a loyal client base.
Following the divestment, all current employees of Alpadis Trust (Labuan) Ltd, except for the Labuan Compliance Team, will transition to employment under CCIB. The Labuan Compliance Team will remain with Alpadis, continuing to provide compliance services and support to Alpadis' offices globally.
Clients and partners of Alpadis Trust (Labuan) Ltd will experience no immediate changes in their services or contacts. Operations will continue as usual until regulatory approval from the Labuan Financial Services Authority is obtained. Any future changes will be clearly communicated in advance to ensure continuity and stability.
The completion of this transaction is anticipated to occur on or before Q4 2025, subject to regulatory approval.
